Tassel Cotton-Grass (Eriophorum viridicarinatum) is one of seven cotton-grasses native to New Brunswick. All of these occur in boggy habitats. In collecting and mounting this specimen, Agnes Warner took obvious care to include material showing the root system and a range of variation in the number of flowering heads per stem.

Collected by Agnes L. Warner in Saint John, New Brunswick, 18 June 1892.
